Happy Birthday Hari Hari!!

My baby has turned 1!

Hari Hari Sri Lankan curry

Having started with a recipe blog, this has now evolved to include an ‘article’ based blog, and so, feel that I cannot let the 1 year anniversary of Hari Hari pass, without a mention. This post is not about passing on a recipe but passing on the adventure that has been Hari Hari for the last year!

I can’t get over how quickly that one year has flown (everyone seems to say that about every year that passes but its true!)  Those feelings of butterflies, the doubts about “am I doing the right thing?”, “is this a good idea?” seem such a long time ago.

Hari Hari Srilanka Ballons

It has been an amazing year!  I learnt more than I could have ever realised I would, I have met some truly amazing and wonderful fellow foodies, customers and people from all walks of life.  I have learnt new skills and discovered I can do those things I didn’t think I’d have the nerve to do.  But most of all – I CAN COOK ; )  I learnt to enjoy cooking after leaving home and that has grown in to a pleasure which I could not have foreseen.

Having launched at my children’s summer school fete; Hari Hari has stretched its wings to bigger markets, into shop fronts and laid a trail on the Internet!

I have been so lucky to have met and worked with wonderful fellow foodies like Jane from Goldhill Organic Farm , Tracey from Ajar, Gemma from Eat Dark Matters, Lizzie Baking Bird; Helen from Dorset Magazine, Michelle & Rob from Comins Tea House , Gemma from Dorset Pies, Katharine from Dorset Food and Drink, The ATM team, The Producers Market Team, Dorset Popcorn, Fine Oils and Ingredients, The Salt Pig, Oxfords Bakers, Pamphill Dairy, Oaks Farm Shop and many many more amazing and wonderful people (sorry for not having mentioned all of you here!!)  All of you have made this journey pure joy and I look forward to continuing to work and grow together with you all!  I am also excited at the thought of all the other amazing people and businesses I have yet to meet!

From a smallish dining room table to now a gazebo with banner and more, Hari Hari has and is an adventure that I am truly relishing.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you whom have helped me get to where I am today!  My followers on Twitter, my likers on Facebook and and my followers on Instagram.  My fellow foodie producers and my lovely lovely customers!

THANK YOU for supporting Hari Hari!
